She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie Burke Nixon and Juanita Orene Reed Nixon; her husband Jack Alston; her stepson Patrick Alston; and her grandson Josh Alston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Ledbetter (Kip) of Fort Smith, Kellee Ragains (Mike Werthmuler) of Fort Smith and Calli Landes (Chris) of Edmond, Oklahoma; her stepsons, Jay Alston of Ozark, Darin Alston (Trish) of Ozark, Bryan Alston of Little Rock and Evett Alston of Clarksville, Arkansas; and her brother Bobby Nixon (Glynda) of Mulberry. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
