It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Allen Hixon (Ozark, Arkansas), born in Franklin, Arkansas, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hixon and Florine Hixon (Patterson); his sister Joann Fine; and his brother-in-law Thomas E. Fine (Ralph "Poke" Franklin). He is survived by: his close friend Sylvia Zimmeron of Texas; his daughters, Tammy Love (Terry) of Franklin and Regina Matheson (Mike) of Eldridge, Iowa; his grandchildren, Anna Marie Love, Max and Elly Matheson; his siblings, Patricia Franklin of Ozark and Dale Hixon (Pat) of Shreveport, Louisiana; his nephew Mike Franklin (Gwen); and his niece Debbie Gortemiller (Greg).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (2315 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
