It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Artie Ruth Cook of Ozark, Arkansas, born in Altus, Arkansas, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett McCartney Jr. and Lucy Dester Gossage; her husband William Joseph Carley; her children, Carl Edward McCartney Sr., Larry Dale Conley, Michael Eugene Conley, Denis Ray Conley, Billy Edward Conley and Rita Faye Conley Harris; her siblings, Ricky Price and Velma Sue Shirley; and her granddaughter Amanda Owen.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Leon Conley (Susan) of Kerrville, Mary Carley (Carrol Davis) of Mulberry, Robert Dwayne Conley of Odesa, Billie Moore (Steve) of Van Buren, Denise Conley Belt (David) of Ozark and Melissa Dawne Pannell (Benjamin Williams) of Ozark; and her close friend Harmon Cagle. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
