Armon Gregory Beard Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Armon Baxter Beard and Gaylene Ketchum Beard; his daughter Kendra Gail Beard-Bailey; his brother Kelly Beard; and his brother-in-law Allan Sturdivant.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sturdivant Beard; his children, Christie Dawn Beard of Ozark and Jeff Beard (Courtney) of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Alyson, Emilee, Harper, Kinsey, Beckham and Luke; his siblings, Kitty Beard of Dyer, Arkansas, Randy Beard (Lisa) of Dyer and Terry Beard of Shreveport, Louisiana; his sister-in-law Mickie Beard of Poteau, Oklahoma; his in-laws, Kenneth and Zenith Sturdivant; and his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Dutton (Gary) and T. L. Sturdivant (Tammie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (2315 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Kendra's Voice at Bank OZK. This donation will be donated in memory of Greg Beard, to the Rockefeller Center for Ovarian Cancer Research at UAMS.
