He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kennedy; his children, Scott Harrison, David Jones (Barbara), Donna Harkins (Bobby), Angela Padgett (James), Regina Dewitt Cain (Michael), Toynua Jones, Connie Richard (Alan), Penny Brake (Scott), Jenny Rehmert (Brian) and Crystal Grogan (Scott); and his siblings, Kemp Kennedy and Linda Farris. He is also survived by 41 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
