He is survived by: his mother Odesther Smith Young of Osceola, AR; his children, Sammy Young, Jr. (Jennifer) of Osceola, Jaleen Young, Brenton Young of Jonesboro, Tara Collins (Reggie) of Parker Heights, TX and Aarika Daniel of Little Rock; and his siblings, Bobby Lowery (Kimberly Guy) of Osceola, Exie Webb (Matthew), Vanessa Byrd, Tamela Gladney (Elizabeth), Dorothy Williams (Princilla Scott) and Willa Green (Ira Proctor) of Douglasville, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
