It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Thomason of Osceola, Arkansas, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Thomason and Kate Thomason Jr.; and his sister Kate Schuncke. He is survived by: his wife Diane Thomason; his son Russ Thomason (Katherine); his stepchildren, Graham Kimbrough (Robin), Tina Harlin (Dan) and Dana Porter (Paul); his grandchildren, Christopher Porter, Allen Porter, Scott Porter and Rosalind Thomason; his nephew Joe McCorkle; and his great-niece Katy Jean McCorkle.

The family would appreciate memorials to be sent to St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Osceola.
