He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Myles and Bertha McAdory; and his brother John McAdory. He is survived by: his wife Betty McAdory; his foster children, Craig McAdory, Kecia McGowan, Tiffany Flie, Katherine Perry, Jayla Hughes and Patricia James; his siblings, Louis McAdory (Joyce), Amos McAdory (Lydia), Charles Myles, Bertha Thurman (Terry), Nancy Reed (Joe), Helen Green, Rosie White (George), Karen Myles and Charlene Myles; and his siblings-in-law, Theodora Hill (Billy), Mary McGowan, Vernedia McGowan, Charles McGowan, Henry McGowan and Jonathan McGowan.
