He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jacob and Lillie Baker; his wife Rose Marie Baker (DeSain); and his siblings, Mary Tate, Hazel Kyle, Dorothy Baker, Pauline Alsworth, Donald Baker and E. J. Baker Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Charles Baker Jr. (Tracy), Tony Baker (Michelle), Charlene Hart (Buddy) and Lori Compton (Robert). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
