He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley J. Smith and Eunice Smith (Chapman); and his wife Betty Sue Moore. He is survived by: his children, Danny Smith (Kathy) of Pana, Larry Smith (Marcia) of Sullivan, Sharon Roberts (Mike) of Clinton and Karen Scribner of Sullivan; and his sister Georgia Clayton of Louisiana. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
