He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon and Truman; his wife Peggy Ward Roper; his son Tommy Lynn; and his brother Shirl Don.
He is survived by: his son Wade; his siblings, Kenny (Carol) and Pam Roper Holloway (Tommy); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Roper Clark and Betty Ward. He is also survived by daughters, 3 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, cousins.
