He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tate and Bertha Tate of Kissee Mills; his wife Virginia Mae; his siblings, Charley, Harlie, Lewis, Spencer, Earl Dean, Shirley, Geraldine, Irene, Eurbell and Mary Lou; and his daughters, Mary and Sharon.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn (Eddie Barber), Connie (Tyler Matlock), Lonnie (Sharon Tate), Patricia (Donavon Horn), Jane (Mac Gilbert), Charlotte (Lee Johnston), Brenda (George Still) and Don Tate of Omaha Ar. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren.
