He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wayne and Fallie Ashley; his wife Mary Lou (Mahler); and his siblings, Lorene Breeding (Ashley), Carthel Bergman (Ashley) and Ross Ashley.
He is survived by: his daughter Gail Burkhart (Toby) of Walnut Shade; his brother Joe Ashley of Kansas City; and his grandson Hunter Burkhart of Walnut Shade.
