He was predeceased by: his parents, O. B. Roberts and Dora Lea Bowman Roberts; and his sisters, Annetta Welch and Hazel Henson. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Curtis Roberts; his children, Wesley Roberts of Sparta, Missouri, Christy (Joe Hicks), Mandy (Lucian Nica) and Virginia; and his grandchildren, Zena, Alex, John Hicks, Clarice and Nicholas Nica.
