With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kent Jay Barnes of Ola, Arkansas, born in Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, J. W., Hazel Marcum, Jeraldine and Joe Barnes; his uncles, Johnny Barnes and Kenneth Barnes; and his aunt JoAnn Marshall.
He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Jay Barnes and Janice Gayle Marcum Barnes of Ola; his wife Sonya Haley Barnes of Ola; his children, Konnor Barnes, Korbin Barnes and Jennifer Barnes; his stepchildren, Brandon Royer of Fayetteville, Shelby Royer of Florida, Brittany Gray of Danville, Courtney Smith of Ola and Keri Smith of Conway; his sisters, Stephanie Barnes of Ola and Lindsey Sutterfield (Michael) of Pottsville; his nephew Brady Sutterfield of Pottsville; and his pet Sally. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
