He was predeceased by: his parents, Henery Russell "Strawberry" Laymon and Dorothy Lee Radford Laymon; and his brothers, Herbert Laymon, Frank Laymon and Charles "Buck" Laymon.
He is survived by: his children, Starletta Ross (Steve), Teresa Barnes (Richard), Johnathan Laymon, Michael Travis Laymon (Summer) and Justin Laymon Banks; and his siblings, Darrell "Booger" Laymon, Maxine Standridge and Marlene Moore. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
