He was predeceased by: his parents, John Horton and Mable Horton (Alexander); and his grandson Charles Boyd, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Latricia Boyd; his grandchildren, Eric Dobbins, Jr., Erica Dobbins, Dashun Dobbins, Demarcus Boyd and Antonio Boyd; his great grandchild Antonio Bowie; and his siblings, Vicki Reed (Ellis), Sharon Boykins (Duane), Charles Horton, Robert Horton, George Horton (Laquita), Dennis Horton, Clifford Horton and Jonathan Horton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
