He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bowlin and Florence Bowlin; his son Mark; and his sisters, Barbara Bowlin Estes and Wilma Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Fenton; his sons, Robert Fenton, Jared Fenton (Leone) and Kirk Fenton (Janie); and his grandchildren, Tracy, Whitney, Trisha, Sheree, Robbie, Ashley, Ryan, Michael, Tommy (Tabitha), T. J., Lilith and Emily (Marco).
