He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shoman and Lillian Eva Shoman; his daughter Sara; his adoptive father Frederick "Fritz" Schomann; and his spouse Wilhelmine "Minnie" Kruse.
He is survived by: his siblings, Chuck, Mary and Allie (Lilah); his children, Martha of Alamosa, CO, Scott of Plymouth, NH, Laura and Kevin Riedinger of Shannon Hills, AR; his granddaughter Brianna Maloney of Santa Monica, CA; his son John Maloney of Arcadia, CA; his friends, Lucy Smith and Rev. Dustin Freeman; his caregivers, Michelle, Summer, Julie, Ashley, Fallon and Cheryl; his brothers, William, Chris, Fritz and Henry; and also, Patricia Maloney Schwarz, Karen Schwarz Muehlberger and Dawn MacKechnie.
