He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Byrd and Tommy Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Byrd; his children, Carmen Lane (Brian) of Vilonia and Kelly Reddin (Matt) of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Chloe Lane, Mackenzie Reddin, Harrison Lane and Parker Reddin. He is also survived by cousins who were more like brothers and sisters.

In Lieu of flowers a memorial may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
