It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ira J. Strack of North Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Strack and Julia Strack; his wife Mary Lee; and his siblings, Andrew, Richard, Lou Strack, Mildred Krauskop, Clotine Estrada and Charlotte Harkless.
He is survived by: his sister Virginia Hall; his children, Kathy Strack, Joe Strack (Donna), Linda Bridges (Steve), Paul Strack (Lisa) and Sharon Gunter (Marc); his grandchildren, Billy Strack (Allie), Laura Aday (Steve), Patrick Strack (Taylor), Tony Bridges, Ryan Bridges (Hallie), Chris Bridges (Cara), Michael Strack (Jessie), Matthew Strack (Dom), Amanda Strack, Anna Strack, Lindsey Bulloch (Mac) and Adam Gunter (Kara); and his great grandchildren, Reilly, Brooklyn, Rowan, Joseph, Sloane, Miles, Maisie, Palmer, Chloe, Hayes, Camille and Sophia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7000 John F Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Rock Catholic High School or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock.
