It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Eugene Smith of North Little Rock, Arkansas, born in Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Smith and Ruby Hedden Smith; his son Wesley T. Richard; his brother-in-law Billy Joe Rundell; his children-in-law, Lisa Martin and Glenn Casey; his grandson Charles Christopher Martin; and his niece Amanda Rundell.
He is survived by: his children, John Martin, Joni Buell (Marty) of Dacula, Georgia, Juli Martin (Jerry) of Paragould, Libbi Lamar, Nicolle Smith and Randi Stokes (Jimmy Schaefer) of Maui; and his sisters, Barbara Smith and Charlotte Rundell of Sheridan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
