He was predeceased by: his parents, Helena Rackley Cannon and Cluster Lee Cannon; his grandparents, Noah, Lura Cannon, Arlie and Blanche Rackley; his brothers, Bobby Don Cannon and Nolan Cannon; and his stepfather George Rooney.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Jean Southerland; his children, Leigh Ann Bird of Drasco and Larry Cannon (Lynn) of Drasco; and his sister-in-law Earlene Cannon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
