She was predeceased by: her parents, William Owen and Vietta Thompson (Gully); her husband Calvin; her great grandchild Isabel Stonecipher; her sons-in-law, Steve Jones and Barry Hale; and her siblings, Homer Thompson, Maudie Gillhan, Jewel Jeffery, Artie Thompson and Mable Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Stapleton (Ann) of Tuckerman, Doug Stapleton (Charlene) of Tuckerman, Joan Kremers (Ed) of Jonesboro and Phyllis Hale of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Hollie Stonecipher (Jerrod), Keith Babbs, Kristen Davis (Brian), Lindsay Oliveira (Glenn), Arron Stapleton and Brian Stapleton (Jody); her great grandchildren, Hannah Nutall, Addison Stonecipher, Maggie Stonecipher, Ryan Babbs, Alyssa Babbs, Juniper Oliveira, Elowyn Oliveria, Payton Stapleton, Harper Stapleton and Camille Stapleton; and her sister-in-law Jacquelyn Thompson of Newport. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
