It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Lewis of Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lewis and Zola Lewis (Brumley); his wife Betty Lewis; his daughter Janice Lewis; and his siblings, Charlie, L. Z. Lewis, Ora Burrow and Cordiela Slayton.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Delana Yancey (Barry) of Newport and Bernice Lewis of Newport; and his great grandchildren, Valarie Roberts (Jacob) of Campbell Station, Michael Armer (Devin) of Newport and Brittiny Watson (Derek) of Bay.
