He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Thrift and Viola Thrift (Baty) of Newport, Arkansas.; his wife Patty Thrift; his sons, Tommy Thrift (Carol) and Ronnie Thrift (Angelia); and his grandchildren, Matthew Thrift (Kelley), Taylor Thrift (Courtney), Hailey Thrift, Whitney Swaim and Sadie Rogers. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
