It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Elizabeth Cockrill (Newport, Arkansas), who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hembrey and Belle Hembrey (Davis); her husband D. V. "Penn" Cockrill; and her siblings, T. J. Hembrey, Sue Brasheres, Johnnie Armstrong, Emily Layton and Betty Stoner.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Cockrill (Leslie) of Newport, Phyllis Tyrrell (late John) of Conway and Robin Burrow (Rick) of Camden Wyoming, DE; her siblings, Hub Hembrey (Joyce) of Tuckerman, Jack Hembrey (Sandy) of Newport, Christine Roberts (Bill) of Vidalia, LA and Katie Hawk (Doyle) of Newport; her grandchildren, Leanne Tyrrell of Conway, Heather Tharp (Justin) of Conway, Rebecca Frankum (Andy) of Milton, DE, Eric Cockrill (Marrisa) of Little Rock, Rainer Burrow (Cindy) of Lancaster, PA and Laci Davis (Seth) of Newport; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Eli Tharp of Conway, Odette Frankum of Milton, DE and Caroline Cockrill of Little Rock.
