He is survived by: his wife Vickie Smith (McSwain); his daughter Melissa Ann Hodo of Newport; his sisters, Vonnie Sutherland of Grubbs and Mazel Prince of Grubbs; his grandchildren, Chris Hodo (Laura) of Alexander, Kathryn Hopkins (Chad) of Newport, Ross Hodo (Cassidy) of Newport, Rachel Howard of Tuckerman, Jessica Cooper (Ace) of Weiner and Joseph Smith of Jonesboro; his great grandchildren, Annie Kate, Henry, Chloe, Rylee, Jenna Grace, Grayson, Keeley, Carver, Allie Peyton and Miles Eli; and also Sue Ann Smith (Causey). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
