With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharlie Carter of Newport, Arkansas, born in Buckeye, Arizona, who passed away on December 31, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl B. Evans and Willie Evans (Huffman); her husband Jacob Jackson Carter, Jr.; and her sister Marquetta L. Bell. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Fears (Mike) of Bradford, Terry Carter of Bradford, Jeffery Carter (Carolyn) of Ash Flat and Dane Carter (Becky) of Cherokee Village; her grandchildren, Crystal Hayes (Greg), Angela Fears, Joshua Fears (Shay), Chasten Carter, Jake Carter, Christopher Carter, Stephanie Carter and Dereck Carter; and her granddaughter-in-law Shay. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends.
