She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee Davis (Virginia Pearl Champlin) and Rose; her husband Gus Jones; and her daughter Amy Capers. She is survived by: her siblings, Carl Davis of Houston, David Jimmy Davis of Houston, Texas and Charlotte Mingdeller (Patrick) of Florida; her grandchildren, Alex Capers of Newport and Talia Capers of Newport; her great grandchildren, Alex Capers II of Newport, Amelia Hardiman of Newport and Mia Hardiman of Newport; and her son-in-law David Capers of Newark.
