She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar Burton and Mollie Burton (Byrd); her siblings, Jewell Dawson, Willie Huey, Gladys Siler and W. O. Burton; her stepson Gerald Burgess; and her spouse C. C. Burgess III.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathi Burton of Newport; her nieces and nephews, Sharon Dawson of Campbell Station, Sandra Dawson of Bentonville, Jeane Williams of Newport, Paul Huey of Grubbs, Matt Burton of Floyd, Ray Burton of Tuckerman, Bill Burton of Searcy, Charles Moss of Paragould and Michael McCorkle of Bella Vista; and her sister-in-law Faye Burton of Floyd.
