She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lassiter and Victoria Lassiter (Taylor); her husband Arlis Smithee; her son Boyce Smithee; and her siblings, Jack Lassiter, Dewey Lassiter, Joe Lassiter, Mildred Sutterfield, Edith Snapp and Sill Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Smithee (Nancy) of Newport and Betty Lamitina of Little Rock; and her grandchildren, Kirk Smithee, Lane Smithee, Lori Nicholson, Gina Robertson and Kyle Smithee. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
