It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Pankey of Newport, Arkansas, born in Tuckerman, Arkansas, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wallace and Mamie Bailey (Sornson); her husband Wallace Pankey; her children, James "Hobo" Canard and Barbara Canard; and her brother James Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Canard Kendrick; her sister Helen Brock of Hamlet, Indiana; her grandsons, Derek Canard (Beth) of Jonesboro, Eli Dillon Canard (April) of Pocahontas, Stephen Stewart (Jenny) of Jonesboro and Wesley Howard of Tuckerman; and her great grandchildren, Aidan Canard, Rylie Canard, Zoey Stewart, Eryka Garrett, Maci Canard, Ben Prevo, Logan Prevo and Madison Howard.
