He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Dunivan and Ellen Dunivan (Henderson); his wife Inez Dunivan; and his siblings, Bob Rush, Carl Dunivan, Jesse Dunivan, Boyce Dunivan and Loyce Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, J. M. "Jessie" Dunivan (Katie) of Jacksonport, Benjy Dunivan (Kristen) of Charlotte and Tammy King (Jim) of Huntsville, Texas; and his sister Joyce Guffey (Jay) of Jacksonport. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.
