She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nona Jewell and Grover Jewell; her grandparents, H. L. and Kate Johnston Lett; her husband Ralph; her children, Donald, Jim Appleton (Donna), Jane Bratton, Rosemary McGinnis (Paul) and Little Rock; her daughter-in-law Robin Appleton (Fred Nelson); and her granddaughters, Katherine, Amy, Ellen, Lindsay and Mille. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
