He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Spence and Marlene Spence (Sprowl); and his sister Debbie McQueen. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginger" Breedlove Spence (Breedlove); his children, Michael Spence (Heather) of Searcy and Jennifer James (William) of Newport; his siblings, Randy Spence of Michigan City, Richard Spence of Dunnellon, Florida, Cathy Ball (Ronnie) of Cabot and Mana Busby of Dunnellon, Florida; his grandchildren, Katelyn Nobles (Dale), Tiffney Mahan, Robert Pectol, Spencer Tubbs, Gabriel Tubbs, Michael J. Spence and Xavier Spence; his great grandchildren, Nova, Isaac and Ian; and his nephew John Reed.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
