He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Jones (Simmons); his daughters, Nastassia Bryant and Tiffany Gist of Mabelvale; his grandchildren, Jackson Gist of Mabelvale and Jaycee Johnson of Mabelvale; his siblings, Andra Griffin (Joe) of Jonesboro, Donald Gist (Sha) of Mt Pleasant, TX, Joyce Talbert (Stanley) of Mt Pleasant, TX, Letitia Campbell of Memphis and Tomeka Thomas (Ruby Battle) of Newport; his stepmother Linetta Gist of Newport; and his sister-in-law Ann Lee Gist of Newport. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
