It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Chronister of Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray McElrath and Hazel McElrath (Burns); and her brothers, Wayne, Bill, Lonnie and Jerry McElrath.
She is survived by: her husband John Chronister; her children, David Chronister (Leigh Ann) of Magness and Lisa Poppleton (Mike) of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Erin Poppleton of Jonesboro, Katie Chronister of Magness and Alyson Ward (Chad) of Texarkana, Texas; and her great grandchild Emily Ward. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
