It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Gatlin of Newport, Arkansas, born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Herndon and Lillian Herndon (Logsdon); her husband Frank Gatlin; and her brother George Herndon. She is survived by: her daughter Carolynn Vaughan of Hawaii; her grandchildren, John Vaughan of Hawaii and Amber Vaughan-Sarandi of Hawaii; her great grandchild Amanda Mojica of Oklahoma; and her great great grandchild Emery Mojica of Oklahoma.
