It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Rucker (Newport, Arkansas), who passed away on April 25, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Therry and Madie Rucker, Sr. (Tidwell); her children, Connie Smith and Patricia Jones; her grandmother Florence Rowland; her brothers, Therry Rucker, Jr., Charles Rucker and Roylee Rucker; and her grandchildren, Jermaile Calamese, Jabar Calamese, Bricen Woods and Kensley Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Smith of Newport, Luther Rucker (Arnetrice) of Cotton Plant, Sherman Rucker (Sonya) of Batesville, Wanda Sally (Robert) of Jonesboro, Debra Rucker of Diaz and Mary Williams (David) of Diaz; her siblings, Bobbie Turner, Marzetta Rucker of St. Louis, Mary Foster of Hillsboro, Floyd Rucker of St. Louis, MO. and Tim Rucker of Newport; her aunts, Polly Peterson of Denver, CO. and Diane Cunningham of Denver, CO.; and her close friend Georgetta Stubblefield of Newport. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
