We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2021, at the age of 87, John Minor Sr. of Newport, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcorn Minor, Sr. and Clint Edgar Minor; his wife Mildred Louise Minor; and his brother Alcorn F. Minor, Jr.. He is survived by: his former spouse Miss Mildred Louise Jarvis; his children, Lynne Minor Hare (Marvin) of Newport, John Minor, Jr. (Deborah) of Searcy, Susan Minor of Little Rock and Martha Minor of Little Rock; his cousin Lance Minor, Jr. of Darian, Connecticut; his sister-in-law Dorothy Jarvis Moseley (Ray) of Walnut Ridge; his nephews, Clay Minor of Russellville and Alcorn Minor, III of Portola Valley, California; and his niece Leigh Minor Schlegel of Annapolis, Maryland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
