She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Earl and Lillian Vallie Shaver (Long); her husband Jimmy Dale Gibbs; and her brother Carlos Earl. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Gibbs (Angela) of Newport, John Gibbs (Christa) of Newport, Barbara Gibbs of Newport, Carla Gibbs of Newport and Linda Gibbs of Newport; her sister Sue Snell (Ricky) of Bastrop, Texas; and her grandchildren, Ashton Gibbs, Leon Gibbs and Rose Gibbs.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Gibbs family has asked that memorials be made to American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741.
