She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Schales and Pearl Schales (Roberts). She is survived by: her husband Mitch McCorkle; her daughter Susan Simmons (Aric) of Jonesboro; her stepchildren, Mike McCorkle (Cindy) of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Sherry Moore of Quitman, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Avery McCorkle of Frisco, Matthew McCorkle of Bentonville, Justin of Batesville, Arkansas, Alex Fike of Batesville, Arkansas, Pug and Princess.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112).
