With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Walton of Newport, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A., Sr. and Evelyn Deborah Walton (Roberts); his son James D.; his siblings, John A. Walton, Jr., Dale Owen Walton and Barbara Ann May; and his son-in-law Johnny Terrell.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Walton (Turner); his daughters, Terry Terrell of Jonesboro and Kendra Adair (Rob) of Bentonville; his stepchildren, Monty Gammill (Becky) of McRae, Kim Bradley (Paul) of Bentonville, Wendy Mann (Scott) of Bella Vista, Tracy Guinn (Bruce) of Bella Vista, Bobby Clausen (Tammie) of Tuckerman, Becky Clausen Cloud of Tuckerman, Leslie Clausen Tinsley of Newport and Kimberly Clausen Cornwall of Newport; his sisters, Juanita Pitts of Bella Vista, Peggy Reid (Dickey) of Sandhill and Kathy Walker (Gary) of Lubbock, Texas; and his pet Tasha. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
