The memory of Gladys Marie Robinson of Newport, Arkansas, born in Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Atkins and Anna Mae Brandon (Wesson); her stepson Clinton Wesley; her sister Lorene Lacy; and her niece April Tidwell Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Robinson and Anita Robinson Ward (Keith) of Hampton Georgia; the father of her children Robert Robinson; her brothers, Alvie Tidwell of Newport, Joseph Brandon of Newport and Eric Brandon of Georgia; her grandchildren, Derek Robinson (Alexis), Robert Robinson (Alexis) and Mannie Lowery (Destini); and her nieces and nephews, Cordairo Tidwell, Chasity Black (Cedric) and Jordan Mabry (Madeline). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel (2001 AR-367, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Through her faith and her service, she embodied the values of kindness, charity, and devotion to others.
