He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Claude Fortenberry and Deliah Fortenberry (Callahan); his wife Karla Fortenberry; and his brother Jim Fortenberry. He is survived by: his close friend Willene Howes; his children, Ashley Fortenberry of Jonesboro and Leah Cox (Jay) of Newport; his brothers, John Fortenberry (Donna) of Conway and Chuck Fortenberry (Shirley) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Jacob Cox of Newport, Hannah Cox of Newport, Kaylee Fortenberry of Newport and Erica Lore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
