He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Pearl McClure (Donaho) and Melvin "Buddy" McClure; and his sisters, Katherine Long and Ada Clark. He is survived by: his wife Fern McClure; his children, Judy Rice (Harvey) of Olive Branch and Scott McClure (Drenna) of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Melissa, Paul LaFrain, Derek (Brandy), Stuart (Allilson), Ethan McClure, Jason (Amanda) and Shelly Rice; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Emmett LaFrain, Hayden, Oliver, Kayley, Kelsey McClure, Madeline and Matthew Rice; and his sister Sherry Pierce of Southside, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
