He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harold and Juanita "Short" Loftin (Stokes); his sons, Christopher Loftin and Jeff Loftin; his siblings, Robert, Hubert Loftin and Mae Lynn England; his stepsister Wilma Kinard; and his stepmother Jean Kinard Loftin.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Loftin (Atkinson); his daughters, Kathy Odom (Mike) of Diaz, Karen Metzger (Wayne) of Newport, Lorrie Tubbs (John) of Tuckerman and Christy Beshears (David) of Elgin; and his stepsisters, Nora Gibson (Johnny) of Newport and Barbara Tubbs of Newport. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
