He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Wayne Boyce, Sr. and Sylla Boyce (Harvey); his brother Sam Harvey Boyce; his children, Elayne Zellmer (Boyce) and Edward Wayne Boyce, III; his grandchildren, Edward A. Zellmer, Peter W. Zellmer, Mary Catherine Zellmer, James S. Zellmer and Madelaine A. Boyce; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Zellmer, Isabelle Zellmer and Evelynn Zellmer.
