She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Beard, Sr. and Christine Beard (Pruitt); her husband Rexford Felix Grigsby, Sr.; her son Rexford F. Grigsby, Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Beard, Eli Beard, Sr., Buster Beard, Hubert Beard and Jessie Carson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Grigsby of Weldon, Kathy Green (Roger Green) of Newport and Lou Mitchel (Wes) of Graford, Texas; her siblings, Marcus Beard of Tyler, Texas and Betty Ellis of Newport; and her grandchildren, Alan Grigsby, Jared Grigsby, Kristi Grigsby, Daniel Grigsby, Andrea Adams, Dr. Alison Green, Elizabeth Green, Weston "Trey" Mitchel and Katelyn Mitchel. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a lifetime of friends.
